Tide predictions are fetched from the Canadian Hydrographic Service when you build the plan (needs service) and stored on this device, with about ten days either side of your trip. After that everything works offline — including rebuilding the plan with new camps or dates if you fall behind. Open the app once in airplane mode before you leave to confirm. Share plan sends a link that loads this itinerary on a friend’s phone; they should open it, then add the page to their home screen.

Where am I beta

GPS works without cell service; the first fix can take a minute in the open. The track is landmark-keyed to the Parks Canada km markers (beta) — trust the km posts on the trees over this by a few hundred metres.
